Born in Wisconsin, I currently reside in Michigan. I received my BFA from University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and earned my MFA at Michigan State University. After spending some time in New York, I took a full time teaching gig at Lansing Community College where I enjoy teaching students the
finer points in drawing, painting and foundational fine art and design concepts.
About Me
Currently, the campus at Lansing Community College hosts over 50 pieces of my personal work ranging from figurative to abstract and back. I am always trying to find that sweet spot of meaning within figuration and abstract concepts. The consistent element has always been a fascination with color and resiliency. I am open to freelance and contract work.
